Beginning Monday morning, 05/18/2026, Edom WSC operator will be connecting a new 4" main line on FM 279 - east of Edom. Work is expected to last several hours. When beginning work customers in the area may experience lower water pressure or water outages. Once work is completed, the operator will be heavily flushing the new main line and surrounding area mains, this also may cause customers in the area to experience lower water pressure.
After the job is completed, some customers may experience tinted water or milky (air) water. We ask you go to an outside water faucet, open it, and let it run for a few minutes or until the water clears. If you continue to experience an issue with the water quality, please contact the water operator - John Pipes at (903)385-2455.
