04/12/2026 - Electrical issues at South Distribution Plant
Edom WSC is currently troubleshooting some electrical issues at the South Plant location caused by the weather from earlier today. Customers could possibly experience some lower water pressure at this time. If additional repairs are needed that would cause disturbances to water distribution, this notice will be updated with information for customers.
Once repair work is completed, the operator will be flushing the main water lines, this also may cause customers to experience some lower water pressure.
Due to these repairs and the main line flushing, some customers may experience tinted water or milky (air) water. We ask you go to an outside water faucet, open it, and let it run for a few minutes or until the water clears. If you continue to experience an issue with the water quality, please contact the water operator - John Pipes at (903)385-2455.

12/19/2025 - Leak repair CR 3300 (Red Bud Road)
Edom WSC water operator will be repairing two main line leaks today on CR 3300. Repairs are expected to last several hours. During the repairs customers may experience lower water pressure. Once repairs are completed, the operator will be heavily flushing the main line, this also may cause customers to experience lower water pressure.
After repairs are completed, some customers may experience tinted water or milky (air) water.
